Through my years of teaching, I have students young and old, from beginners to Grade 8, for exams and leisure, and I also prepares students for piano competitions and festivals to expand their exposure to music.

My teaching style points towards their musical experience in performing and creating. Thus instead of chasing mainly graded examination and certificates, I prefer to expand my students’ exposure to music and encourage them to perform whenever they are ready. Other than just the usual examination and classical pieces, I also do ear training and music pieces analysis so the students will link music theory with practical knowledge to increase their critical thinking skills in music. I will also expose students to lead sheet reading, improvisation and also music composition too. Overall, a holistic music learning experience.
